The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival returns for its 14th year, showcasing close to 100 American and international films from Nov. 9-13, 2011, in the Movies at Midway complex in Rehoboth’s Midway Shopping Center.

ResortQuest Delaware is offering privately owned vacation rentals in nearby Bethany Beach—ranging from oceanfront condos to secluded single-family vacation homes. ResortQuest is the Bethany Beach real estate and Bethany Beach vacation rental leader.

Since 1998, the five-day festival has become a must-attend event for film buffs throughout the Mid-Atlantic, showing a variety of features, documentaries and shorts. The festival also offers informative seminars and special events, including the Children's Cinema Corner for elementary school-aged children, held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.

The festival offers food, beverages and a chance to relax in the lounge located in the “Big Tent,” giving movie-goers a chance to interact and enjoy themselves before and after viewings. The tent also hosts events such as a French wine tasting and French Baroque dance exhibition as part of its Country Spotlight, as well as an art auction, a 50/50 drawing, Dogfish Head beer tasting and closing event ceremony, among others.
